Special processes and products

These products show some of the capabilities that make CP Foods so exceptional.

Yakitori

Yakitori is an example of the many skewered products that we make.

Other examples are favoured with sate or tikka.

They are all uncooked marinaded diced chicken meat - put on a skewer - then either chargrilled, or steam cooked in a steamer, fried, or roasted.

Many of them are made up by hand.

They are widely used as party food and fnger food.

Charcoal line

Our charcoal line consists of a hot charcoal bed, above which is a moving conveyor, pre-cooking the product on one side or both sides.
It is all operated by hand.

Roasting whole chicken

The whole bird is cleaned, and then injected or marinaded with favour or brine.  
Then it is dry roasted on a continuously moving conveyor.

Dim Sum

We make hundreds of varieties of Dim Sum of every kind.

All our Dim Sum are hand made using the highest quality ingredients.

We make up all the ingredients ourselves, and just buy in the raw materials,  
many from local farms.

We also make our own pastry.

Our Dim Sum can be either steamed or fried.

Duck

The duck is rubbed with dry spices by hand to give it the aromatic favour.

Then it is cooked at a high temperature in a round gas fred vessel with a naked fame beneath. This is a very dry heat, and the oil drains away, making the duck very crispy.

Shrimp

Our substantial production facilities are completely biosecure. We don’t use antibiotics or synthetic hormones anywhere in our production, and we employ probiotics (that’s friendly bacteria) in our hatcheries and farms to create a healthy growing environment.
